The root images of Radiate are actually photos of food waste, that I took back in 2017. Through manipulation of color and light I have transformed the image to read closer to positron emission tomography. This kind of radioactive imaging is used to examine how our tissues and organs are functioning. The gut is said to be the second brain of our human bodies. This series is a conversation about food and its unseen effects on our bodies. Food has the power to make us radiate.
